Hi Vixens!
I am trying to find someone who knows something about henna and would like to come to a baby shower to teach the participants the basics, so they can henna each other. Do any of you wonderful goddesses know someone who might be interested?
Love,
Veronicah

Fri, March 14, 2008 - 11:53 AMThanks ladies! I did contact Laura before as she was recommended to me, but so far no reply. I've decided to order some premixed myself and a couple stencil kits for the less artistically inclined and hope I can help anyone who needs it since I have hennaed a few myself. :-) -

Re: Henna teacher
Fri, March 14, 2008 - 8:27 PMHere's a tip I learned...
print out some simple designs
bring a pad of tracing paper and
a charcoal pencil....if you like a design
trace it on the tracing paper, wet the
skin, apply the design over wet skin,
rub it on and then peel the paper off.
You should have a design on the skin
there to trace over with henna.
Also if you apply heat (blow dryer) to the
drying henna it will set the color better.

Re: Henna teacher
Fri, April 11, 2008 - 9:25 AMWe would love to help out, but fear we are too far away.
TAke a look at our web site for some ideas, perhaps you can self teach and have a fun time doing it with friends.
www.hennacaravan.com
We have small and large kits and all the components are also for sale.
If you can decorate a cake using piping you have the basic idea down and can transfer your skill to body art.
have fun.
