Well, lets just start off by saying im extremely bored and school doesnt start until feb 5th. I really want to try and take up some hobby or something to occupy my time, and for some reason i've decided i want to learn knitting. where are knitting classes held? i know they are held at michaels but the class is 15 dollars, plus materials fee. i dont know how much the materials would be, can anyone give me an estmate? also, are there anywhere that teaches classes cheaper than michaels or are they offering a pretty good deal?
thanks!
thanks!

Re: knitting classes around?
Wed, January 9, 2008 - 11:57 PMThere are free sewing and knitting classes held through San Diego Community College District. I took a free sewing class there a few years ago, and have been sewing outfits and costumes ever since. There are six locations around San Diego county. Spring semester starts Jan. 28.
You can call and have them mail you a class schedule: (619) 388-4600

Thu, January 10, 2008 - 1:45 PMOh - good call Anja - I had forgotten about that one. Try this site under Clothing & Textiles - I've taken some glass work classes through this site. Loved it. Want to do the Precious Metal Class class next.
