A few weeks ago I launched my first website. I'm just getting started with running a crafty biusness and I would love to hear from all you guys' experience what works, what doesn't. As far as online website, marketing, and other avenues what would you recommend? I would also love to hear what you think of what I have.

What if the pictures insted scrolling across the screen they flashed one to another.
So you aren't shown all at once which can be over stimulating?
The photos are nice you can see the fabric and desings well.
Looks like you would have FUN fashion shows!
I am starting out too and don't have a web site but thought I would comment anyway.

i will soon be organizing a nice website and menu pricing and such, but for now i am just taking customers as they come.
let me know if you are interested and ready.
i believe that a crafter should focus on what she does best (designing and producing product) and use a service for the other parts of her business that she *could* do, but could be done better by someone who does that best.
what i do best is create websites for crafters. let us know how we can help. -

I paid someone a bunch of money a few years back for my website. www.anzula.com and they never finished it. I would like it finished but don't know how to go about getting that done. Is that something you could do, and do you need to get any info from the guys that did it first?

Sat, July 7, 2007 - 2:04 PMThank you everyone for your feed back. Lots of wonderful info. The next cool thing to go on my site is a flash piece my boyfirend has been working on so you can zoom in and really look at the detail of each piece.
Also i had a fashion show and photo shoot last night so the pictures will be up soon I hope
