My DD keeps begging me to buy her a dream catcher everytime she sees one. I told her to give me time and I would make one for her, that way it would be more special. She thinks this sounds like a good idea. I've looked up several ways to make them, and I have the concept down, I'm just wondering, during what phase of the moon would it be best to make a dream catcher? Any ideas or advice?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Wed, May 14, 2008 - 1:57 PMThanks for the input. She was so excited to make one, we made one last night. I figured the Waxing moon was a good time to do it as well. She was thrilled, and I was thrilled to get her involved.

Re: Dream Catcher
Thu, May 15, 2008 - 6:09 AMI'm not sure if the moon phase is as important as the actual content of the dreamcatcher. Each Native American Nation has a different legend surrounding the making of these objects, but all concur that the dreamcatcher should be made from natural objects found around the home it is to protect. So much of the Native American tradition, as with any spiritual path, has been infused with a mutltude of beliefs that even many of the tribal members no longer follow the old ways.
