here is a link to help you find services for those who were impacted by the various SoCal fires.
I'm hoping and praying that everyone survived with little or no loss!

Re: OT: SoCal Fire Info
Sat, October 27, 2007 - 8:26 AMAll VCA Animal Hospitals are offering free boarding for all animals displaced by the fire.
Please do not turn away anyone who brings a pet to our facilities as a result of the current fires. Although LA City Animal Services does not board pets, under the circumstances, pets are to be accepted, booked in as Personal Property, and transported to the appropriate County shelter ASAP. As always, all information is to be documented in chameleon and all information is to be forwarded to the County so the pet may be reunited with the owner. The Agoura and Castaic shelters are currently accepting owner's displaced pets at their facilities for a fee. For further information, pet owner's should contact the County Shelters at the numbers listed on the attached document.
ACT Supervisors and Center Managers are responsible for ensuring that staff is advised of this information and that the attached documents are available in our lobbies and provided to those who may need it. Thank you!
