Ok, so I think I’ve finally figured out my favorite genre of music to hoop to—Tribal House (and of course the good ol’ organic sound of drums). I like the mix of the organic drum beats and the eclectic electric house grooves I just love the way my hoop turns and my body grooves.
What kind of music get’s your body moving? Have a favorite song or artist you like to spin to?

Teddybears, The Soft Machine
Gnarls Barkley, St. Elsewhere
any Brent Lewis drumming CD
Arabesque (great Arabian themed club mixdisc)
Several of the Putumayo cd's are also good, as is anything with a "world" or "global" vibe.
I usually keep these on a player in my juggling bag, so I'll be happy to preview them for you at the next spinfest -

I tend to play in a very rhythmical style, with a well defined 'pulse' feeling. Ok, ok, so maybe this is just a shameless plug for my youtube "video". But I do think it might be cool to spin to :)
