What: SpinFest’s Birthday Party
Where: White Rock Lake Bathhouse Cultural Center, Dallas, TX
When: Saturday, July 19th, 3pm
Dress: Silly/Party Hats!
Just a reminder - Creative Motion and the gang will be at SpinFest on Saturday the 19st of July by the Bath House Cultural Center (White Rock Lake Park). Please come out and join us at 3pm and enjoy an amazing opportunity to learn, practice, play and perform. Engage in the world of skill toys and discover the talented, interesting, and eclectic people that have already learned that the way is to play!

THIS MONTH.
Creative Motion is having it’s first birthday!!!
Come out and celebrate out one year anniversary of skill toy joy! It was this month a year ago on 7/7/7 that Creative Motion held its first SpinFest in Mansfield, TX. In honor of this very exciting milestone we hope you will don your favorite silly hat fit for a birthday party chalked full of silly antics and skill toy fun there will be cake and skill-toy themed party games. (i.e. Musical Skill Toys, Pin the Poi on the Monkey, Hula-hoop Relays and more.)
Also- Creative Motion is always collecting for an ongoing food drive. Monetary donations and non perishable food items are accepted and greatly appreciated.

New idea for a game!
Sat, July 12, 2008 - 1:46 AMTake some small water balloons, like the little grenade ones, fill with water (duh), tie string around it.... WATER BALLOON POI!
Water Ballon Poi Game Objectives: play with poi, soak your friends.
Would be a fun thing to take out some of the heat of the summer, but would require clothing you don't mind getting soaked in. -

Wed, July 16, 2008 - 7:43 AMCM's Policy is we leave it better. At the end of the day we pack up our gear and pick up all the trash we see whether it's ours or not.
The Bathhouse seems to be pleased with what we do and how we do it. They are kind enough to let us use their electricity each week so that we have tunes in the absence of drummers. We appreciate that a LOT so we go out of our way to make sure they can see that we are a group of earth contious and community minded people. CM continues to empress people. We like it that way, it means more opportunities and more fun to be had.
That being said, water balloons sound like tuns of fun and I can't wait to see what all we come up with to do with them.
NOTE...I have a couple of games planned...but I would also really like it if others would put together and lead some games of their own creation as well (i.e. water balloon poi battles, etc) If there is anyone that has any ideas or wants to lead a game please pm me so we can iron out the details.
oh, and Geo, you live THAT close to SF and you've never come to hang out?!!!?! 'Bout dang time you're plannin' to come out, Girl!
