Re: Charity Stiltwalking Marathon
Fri, August 3, 2007 - 12:59 AMPete has now completed around 575 miles on stilts. Having started at John 'o Groats he has visited Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle-uopn-Tyne and is now approaching Carlisle having spent two days stilting The Roman Wall. His route is not the most direct but since he is fund raising on the way, he is visiting as many large towns as possible -

Re: Charity Stiltwalking Marathon
Tue, October 9, 2007 - 9:49 PMPete has finally had to admit failure. He has done over 600 miles through Scotland but has given up at Carlisle due to running out of volunteer drivers for the support/living van. However he has done wonders for raising the awareness of Epilepsy and is now in the process of arranging another attempt in 2 years time.. Good luck to him.
