While at Folk Camp over Memorial day weekend I happened to sit down next to one of your customers. I was complimenting her on her cowry falls when I noticed the "clippy bit" at the end. Immediately I asked and yes, she had purchased the peacock falls at Spring Caravan. The girl was suprized, to say the least, that I could identify the vendor just by looking at them closely. Good work!

Re: Crystal Kini product sightings...
Wed, June 6, 2007 - 2:00 PMI just have to say how exciting this is for me! Thanks so much for sharing.
First, to compliment someone who is wearing my handmade goodies is a touching to me. But... then, to be able to identify my handy work is another unexpected surprise!
I feel so honored and touched! :-)
Yay! Doing a happy dance! :-) -

Wed, June 6, 2007 - 2:23 PMit was cool! I was just beginning to fondle them when I notice the clip.
Me: *fondle, fondle* Hey!!!! You bought these from Crystal Kini!
Her: Yes, I love Peacock feathers, I got them at Spring Caravan!
Me: I know Crystal, she & I danced together in the same class for a while.
Her: Oh Cool! These are great, I want to get some more clippy bits
Me: She's on tribe, I think you can get them there.
Her: really....
Then she was pulled in to a conversation with her friends.
I thought you would love to know. Happy Happy! -

Wed, June 6, 2007 - 7:28 PMActually Haifa... Next on my business to do list is Bigger Clippy Bits for those of you lovely ladies who have purchased Cowry Hair falls and want to change them out... And of course, this is for those of you (like me) who think that bigger bellydance gear is better!
In addition to the Peacock Feather Clippy Bits, I've got some Clippy Bit Tassels tassels in the works.
I'm still trying to figure out what kinds of belt bases to make to go with the above mentioned Tassels! :-) When I figure it out... I'll let you all know! -

Also... I don't know how I should feel about you fondling the feathers---
hmmm... wonder if I should feel like a Mom watching her daughter getting felt up... Well, my babies have left the nest... I guess they are all grown up and have their own lives now! :-)

Re: Crystal Kini product sightings...
Thu, June 7, 2007 - 1:05 PMYou should know me by now. If I really like something I must touch it, get a better look at it.
Must must must must must touch! I have accosted many a fellow bellydancer this way.
"You don't know me but I love "x" part of your costume" as my hand reaches directly for what every "x" is. I met Kat from Ak-Ana this way. I believe I did the same to Jaz, and some of the dancers backstage at Spring Caravan. The only time I show the slightest bit of restraint is when it comes to boobs. I won't reach out and fondle a strangers bra.
