I feel this is a beautiful idea, and I would love to take part in this outreach effort. Though I must admit I feel hesitation surrounding a few points, which I am sure you share. Having lived in many cities across the U.S. I have met many homeless individuals with beautiful souls whom intentionally “dismiss” themselves from our consumer culture and live lightly on the land. There are not as rare as one would think! What does ignite hesitance in inviting them to a beautiful plot of land is some of the said individuals tend to be… antisocial, reclusive or eccentric. There would be little-to-no way of knowing for sure if they would contribute to The Dream and Respect Mother, or live off of it or even damage it physically or metaphysically.

Personally I trust human nature and feel fresh air, freedom, and new sense of purpose are all the medicine these recluses need! Truly, the only way to know is to try and have good back-up plans drafted.

Thus I feel there are two ways you could achieve this goal of bringing Conscious Rogues/Outcasts (complimentary) to such a location. The first would be a relatively simple and inexpensive effort, likely to yield little or even no results. The second is much more involved, costly, but much more effective even if the end-goal is not fully met.

1.) By drafting simple yet compelling material detailing CTMT, do an outreach campaign of sorts in metro areas in or around AZ. It would be who of those working with you to spend time with The Down-trotted and assess their interest and qualifications/likely-hood of harmony. I have much marketing, outreach, and canvassing experience and would be open to discussing this opportunity.

2.) Using the above concept with minor modifications, a group or even non-profit could form which builds survival skills while focusing on Community Development. A good grant writer could even attain funds for a project such as this. From this project, well integrated and qualified individuals could be relocated to CTMT to form the foundations. An effort such as this launched in several cities is likely to bring about a considerable amount of positive results in many ways. Slow and arduous, but successful nonetheless.
