I?m curious how this idea for your intentional community came about.

How long have you been interested in intentional communities?
Do you live on your own?
When members arrive, how will they feed themselves?
Is there a fee?
Are you striving to live sustainably by raising animals and growing gardens?
So here is what I said


This came about when spirit said it was time to get things ready for when many will not be able to live in the cities, and now we are seeing that come about with so many losing their jobs and homes.
I had a new home in Vegas and was enjoying teaching Reiki and working with crystals when spirit said it was time to buy land. I said but I was to be here for ten years not five and it came from spirit that things are going to go fast over the next few years,as far life as we have know it for the past many years will change.
So I said OK even with all my loving spiritual family there in Vegas I put the house up for sale and started looking for land. Ok now there was already spiritual people I knew in this area so I look here. I ended up on the other side of St.Johns from them but I am where spirit wanted me to be with land to set up a tribe.. So far I had help from friends in Vegas who come out once in a while and from a guy I pay what I can to help with some of the harder work and he has been great about helping all he can with the work. I have keep putting most of the money I make into Mothers Land to get it ready for when the people come. I have met a few that spirit had said would live out here to help but at the time I met them they didn't have the fortitude to take this big step in their life. I have the goats who will be bred this next winter for their babies and their milk to make cheese and butter out of as I was going to breed them this winter but I have enough to do with living by myself along with all my babies and many spirits that keep me going. I seen many communities on IC who charge and want a back ground check but here it is free as far as money but you are expected to help with the work and to build your own place to live without hurting Mother Earth anymore then you have to.(((( I know there will be some who just don't work out and that will be a hard part as I will have to ask them to move on.We can not have anyone who will disrespect Mother Earth and an of the ones who live here in any way.))))
This year I didn't put in a garden do to not having the time for it.
For me I can see where Spirit has been getting me ready for this most of my life as I been able to do a lot of the work myself. As far as feeding the ones who come there is low paying jobs in St.Johns to be had where people can feed them self's till we get a garden in and more animals to use for food.Here is would take just a small income to live on do to no rent. You would need something to drive and something to live in till you get something built, RV,tent or_______- as it is getting warmer where living in a tent would work out for a while. As we do have some very cold days and nights here in the winter. I use a wood stove at this time for heat and a fifth wheel with add on to live in. The fifth wheel was in very bad shape when I got it so I rebuilt it before I move out here with it.
