My family and I have been looking for a community to live in and grow together... We have been seeker now for about 2 yrs. We have children but would be willing to work together to build, teach, and grow. We have been wanting to build our own cob house. I would be great to be able to do it together. Can you tell me what you would expect and what is never by so I can do some research on the area.
Thanks,

You can read the Land agreements here on CTMT for what is expected. Here there is no fee but the help you give in being co care takes of Mother Earth in the setting up Mothers land to have all we need by raising animals for milk, butter, cheese and beef to eat along with the goats later on after we have more of them. It has been friends who come out from Vegas and a helper from town who has help put all this together. In time we will have water on the land as I have the drilling rig but not the well casting yet or the water solar pump at this time as I know in time the money and help to get more done will be come as spirit is the one who put me here and I know spirit will not let this Tribe down.
Hope this helps as the best way to find out what all is going is just to read on here and to call (702)459-6832

Got the chicken coop done with lots of help from a friend and will be bringing home seven chickens on Saturday to their new home.
So now we will have eggs and in time as the chickens get older they will be food for us here. We all have are part in life from the time we are born into this life till the day we cross over back to 100% spirit. We are here to learn and to teach by the way we live our life.
      Have a great week/end

Great news Tamara!! Too bad I couldn't be there to help with building the coop and welcoming the new residents. We are hoping to visit real soon and will enjoy them then. Do we get to see pics when they arrive?? I belong to a yahoo group that hatches eggs and would love to make that a project for the community.

Looking forward to seeing you soon.

        Hi there Tamara,
I am so happy that you were able to finish the coop. We have been thinking about visiting some time in June if that would be ok. That is if things are ok with this flu going around. I guess this flu business is pushing me even hard to go out there and be off the grid. I am looking forward to exploring our spirituality and learn a few things from you. I wanted to send you some pictures of our family so we can get to know one another... I look forward to talking with you some more....

Was given five hens to start with and was talking with other friends about getting a roster and they said they had one if I took the hens also. So now have to build a run for daytime to give the nine chickens room to run around. Will be posting pictures later today. Got the roster in a cage by himself till he gets use to so many girl friends as he had three and now has eight. When they start laying I will be using what I can and giving the rest to friends who will use the eggs as I don't eat many eggs a week.
June sounds great as it may not be that hot yet as this has been a funny year with a mild winter. You can post your pictures here or send then to Spiritgoddess2008@gmail.com....
          Have a great weekend

      Hi Tamara,

I have some questions about the well. Are you going to use the steel or pvc pipe for the casting? Norm and I were thinking that this might be a project to work on when we come visit. Do you have any idea of how deep the wells are in that area? It would be nice to bring some materials up with us when we come to visit and help get the well progressing along if that is ok with you. We will know more towards the end of this week when we will be able to come up.

It will take about 180 feet of screw together PVC #40 in ten ft lengths as that is as tall as the drilling rig is. There is bad water at about 90 to 120 and then you go another 40 ft or so to good water so about 180 will be as deep as we need to go here close to the animals and trailer. The way casing has went up the last few years is out of sight. I never turn down help.
If we went done to the south end it would only be 80 or so ft to good water. Also would need to get a seal to but between the upper water the the drinking water. I would have to find one on line or go to ALB as I don't want to buy anything here in town for the well. As this will be for the animals. call if you want to talk more about this.
