Designed to make it easier to find a Cuddle Party event in your area, RSVP to it and to find a certified Facilitator, we'd like to invite you to take a look-see and give us your feedback. Playgirl and Cuddle Party?!? Don't worry,"Pajamas stay on the whole time," is still Rule Number One of Cuddle Party! But that didn't stop Playgirl from publishing a story of one woman's snuggle experience. Hey, maybe we're on to something with this whole "keeping the pjs on" thing.
Firsthand Experience - It's a Good Thing: Here's an excerpt from recent Philadelphia Cuddle Party attendee and Livejournal member Shahnsasa who shares her Cuddle Party experience in her journal entry, "It's A Good Thing"...
We talked about how we sometimes (or often) feel guilty when we reject people, feeling the need to soften it, and pad it with compliments or humor or apologies. And then REiD said something pretty amazing. He asked us to imagine for the next few hours, that everyone in the room could handle their own emotions, and that we didn't have to do it for them, and we could "just say no." That thought has really stuck with me, and I have been applying it outside of Cuddle Party (and it was really useful the other day when a co-worker I have no interest in dating asked me out)....

We've found that some people, women especially, need to hear from someone who's actually been to a Cuddle Party before they'll RSVP. If you've got some female or male friends who like the notion of Cuddle Party, but are still snuggle-shy, RSVP with them and go as their cuddle buddy!
If you haven't been to a Cuddle Party, spread the word anyway! Post on your blog or Yahoo-groups, MySpace account, or community boards about the importance of social bonding and nurturing affection. Drop our website address into casual conversation (*grin*) or chat us up in the checkout line at your grocery store. Every little bit helps!
