Sex Toy CD's Now at Rasputans and Streetlight Records

Hey Everyone,

Rasputan's and Streelight records now have Cuir Bleu's "Sex Toy" available for order. Support your local shops and your favorite band by stopping in and placing an order. Actually, many more local shops can now order Cuir Bleu CD's for you. But here is the deal. The more folks order CD's from a shop the more the shop will consider doing an order that puts us on the shelf.

What shop do you think we should focus on first? What is your favorite. Let me know and I can encourage folks to all order from there.

Cuir Bleu Back in Stock at Stormy Leather

Stormy has ran out of copies of "Slip Away" but never fear -- they now have access to more copies as well as having "Sex Toy" in stock.

By the way, I found out that Stormy Leather is no longer owned by Erotique. While the band thanks E for stocking "Slip Away", they honestly never seemed a good match for Stormy. We are very excited to see how the shop develops with a renewed focus on the local community. If you have not done so, please stop in and tell them "welcome back!"

Sex Toy CDs Now Available at Mr S. and Madame S.

While we will not be playing at Folsom Street this year, Mr S. is now carrying the "Sex Toy" album. This is the first time a Cuir Bleu product has been offered through the store. Please show your devotion to the band and stop by the shop during the fair and pick up a copy for yourself or for a friend (he Xmas is coming up!).

If the CD's sell well we'll feel on solid ground to approach the L.A. shop about carrying it as well!

It's nearly here!

This is your reminder that Cuir Bleu's Official CD Release and VIP
Party is set for Thursday July 12th at the fabulous Supperclub in San
Francisco!

This will be an event to remember - trust me on this! We'll have a
leisurely 5-course gourmet dinner, access to two full bars, a DJ'd
dance floor, live circus/performance art and of course your favorite
band! And in case you didn't catch the last Bleu note - dinner is
served decadently in bed! Really! There will only be one seating for
dinner, with doors opening at 7:30pm so be sure to arrive on time.

RSVPs are REQUIRED!

Please contact the supperclub at 415.348.0900 and be sure to tell the
reservationist you're attending Cuir Bleu's CD release on July 12th
and that you're "a friend of the band". We have a block of discounted
tickets at $45 (normally $60) FOR OUR GUESTS ONLY! Reservations should
be called in before or on Monday, July 9th.

If you can't make it for dinner, I hope you'll still join us for the
VIP Reception andCuir Bleu performance following dinner, in the
supperclub's "Salle Prive". Doors will open after 10:00pm, with a $5
cover charge for the VIP Party only. If you come for dinner, door
charge for the VIP party is already included.

Also... Thank you to EVERYONE who helped make the LGBT Pride Parade &
celebration with us such a HUGE success! The float looked great, the

PONIES! Oh, did we have ponies... and trainers and carts and... I'm
just sayin', it was a good time! The after-party rocked too... tired
or not, everyone seemed to find the energy to celebrate! If you want

The CD is finally complete - time for a live show! I'll get an official event invite up and a Bleu Note out shortly... for the moment I wanted you all to hear it first!

We'll be playing at the SF Citadel on Saturday night, May 12th, for an official Sex Toy CD Pre-Release party - so mark your calendar! It will be an open BDSM Play party with probably two sets by the band. We'll have SWAG for those who get there early, snackies & all that - and the Sex Toy CD's world debut!

Thank you to each and everyone of you for coming out to the videoshoot at the P.E. You were the best dressed crowd we could have asked for and quite inspiring. Originally, the dungeon was not planned for the day but your beauty inspired me to add to the script. I wanted to give back to you. It was fantastic watching the shoot evolve naturally into a play party. You all are naturals! Would have let it continue all afternoon, but Stephanos has to sleep sometime. = ) Thank you Steph for making the P.E. available!

The greatest kudos goes to Blackheart for without him this video would not have happened.

Extras needed for fetish video shoot!

Dance, ropework, light Play, milling about... no pay, but everyone involved will get a copy of our cool music video once it's done and an acknowledgement on it.

Hey there, Bleu Folks!

If you have a few minutes, I'd love to get a little assistance with something; you won't even need to leave your computer...

We have our current CD ("Slip Away") up on iTunes. We would LOVE to have some reviews up there, so folks who wander through and find us will know what sort of cool music we're playing. You don't have to download any songs to leave a review (though of course we won't complain if you do!) - just log in to iTunes and click to leave a review.

Now, to complicate matters just a little, there are two versions of the CD posted for download - the preview version, which has a red cover, and the final EP with a sexy shot of Kalib and I on the cover. That's the one that wants your attention!

So if you have a couple minutes & want to tell the world what a cool, sexy band we are - please, by all means! I invite you to do so!

August 30th Cuir Bleu appearing at Oakland's Club Anton (www.clubanton.com) with Avalon Rising and Crooked family. The club is plush, with a full bar, plenty of seating and lots of room to dance! Treat yourself to fabulous Peruvian fare and three great bands!
Club Anton is located at 428 Third Street (at Broadway), near Jack London Square.

2. Leather Pride at Bondage a Go Go!

8pm-2am @ the SF Citadel

Bent presents Uniformity, a dungeon party exclusively for kinky youth*. Find a uniform (military, police, medical, school, retail, postal, whatever turns your crank) and start planning your interrogation scene (or, uh, mail delivery scene) now!

Upstairs:
8pm-9pm: Dungeon orientation- we will show you around the space, talk about dungeon etiquette and answer questions. Experienced players also welcome to show up early to socialize or start setting up scenes.
9pm-2am: DJs Shatter (of BaGG), Raven (of recoilstudio.com), and Stiletto (of Wasteland) playing goth/industrial and requests, dance space, social area, and snacks.
10:30pm- A set by Cuir Bleu, an electronic rock fetish band with a “spanking good beat” (www.cuirbleu.com)

Shadowplay!

I thought the party at Shadowplay was a fairly good success. I had an awesome time dancing to the DJ's music before the band got on stage, and then having to get up onstage to hand Pixie the paddle and cds for the drawing. Then, I was "rewarded" for my last forgetfulness of a cd by a small slap of a paddle. *laughs* She calls my name over the microphone and my brain dies for a few moments.

Pixie and the band put on a great show! At one point, I had to get up from my table and dance to "Falling Through Mirrors." I was happy to see EvilPonyGirl dance in the cage--always a sexy sight! And Pixe, of course, was just as radiant onstage!!

It would have been nice to see more faces there though supporting all the hard work the band has put in with their cd and performances. But I was very happy to go out and help. A couple more treks and I might start feeling like an honorary member, which wouldn't be bad at all. Thanks, Pixie, for asking me to help out. I can't wait to go out again!!

It's all about "Sextoy," baby! =)
