Re: Tako poke
Sat, August 4, 2007 - 8:09 PMAh!
I've never eaten octopus before...I have a problem with some of these animals...
I only eat fish...
I am sure this taste fantastic though, maybe I will try it someday and will broaden my taste buds to more sea delicacies...
Thanks for sharing!

Sun, August 5, 2007 - 2:36 PMI forgot to mention the seaweed ingredient. Make a large batch of the stuff for a party, yesterday. People at it all up! Was a hit! -

Mon, August 13, 2007 - 10:17 PMI made Tako Yaki for a party once it was so popular that there was no more tako (octopus). I started using other ingredients. For the tako poke could one substitute ahi tuna for tako. Sounds good to me! -

Tue, August 14, 2007 - 4:54 AMYes...in fact there is a poke with ahi in it. It's got a different name. But, the ingredients would all be the same except for the ahi.

Tue, August 14, 2007 - 10:51 PMOk, you guys are having me re-thinking everything about those "sea animals" I can never even try to eat...
I gues there is a time for everything.
That sounds really good!

Re: Tako poke
Tue, August 14, 2007 - 10:56 PMI would love to fix up a batch fer ya...!! It is really tasty. I fixed up a large bowl of it for a get-together, a few weeks ago. Used over two pounds of tako (octopus). It was gone inside of two hours. People loved it; even those who are normally squeamish about tentacles....
