    cool. looks like a real banjo with a short neck saz neck. never seen one. i've got my oompah loompahs working on it!

  As the other members said, that's a banjo-saz. The sound is really banjoey, less sturdy than a real cumbus.

    it's cool. Guess it is custom made then? Any idea who makes them? Or one would need to buy a real banjo and then take it to a luthier to customize it?
    
    I might be tempted to do that next time I am in Greece as my cumbus saz is not the best made instrument (neck is not exactly 90 degrees angle with the body to start with...)
