Looking for help with custom and finding artist around Harrisburg/Philly

Hihi =)

I have a tattoo already on my lower back, and my original intent was that it was the first of two parts. Finances have said SCREW YOU! since I got the first one but I'm still wanting to finish part two, which is the bigger part (full back). What I'm looking for is a) some design help and b) a good, trusted, talented artist in the Harrisburg/Philadelphia PA area. I'm IN Harrisburg but considering what I'm doing, I'm willing to travel a bit to find someone who can do this right.

Help?

Advice on making flash tattoo art

Hi all!

I just graduated this year, and I'm considering doing some tattoo flash art to make a bit of extra cash. Does anyone know of any good resources for advice to the begginer? I do illustrations already (I couldn't do it full time proffessionally, I don't have the self dicipline), and I have a few tattoos so I know a bit about it.

Also, any advice on what kind of designs are "trendy" at the moment?

Hi I was wondering if there is anyone here that would be willing to draw up a tattoo that i would like. I am looking to have a bunch of small tear marks around my bicep showing bits of the american flag inside the tear Please let me know if anyone can help

Looking for a custom tattoo, wiling to pay

Hi, as is obvious, I'm looking for a very particular tattoo design, but I'm not an artist.
During my experiences, I earned the nickname "afriet" and I'd like a tattoo of one. It will sit on the inside of my forearm, and I will overlay the name "afriet" underneath the tattoo in arabic. An afriet is a clever devil of sorts, a type of Genie from arabic lore. In the flash, he should look like a demon that we're used to, but not evil or twisted. The reason I can't find the tattoo i want is that every demon tattoo is surrounded by fire. The tattoo I want is of an afriet that comes out of water (as was the case in arabic tradition, the afriet were of the water).

Looking for Image of Woman Hidden in Trunk of Tree

For many years I've been looking for an image of a tree with a woman hidden in its trunk. It will need to be large and detailed to cover my back. One side will be summer and one side will be winter. The summer side with have green grass, fruit or flowers on the tree and a sun. The winter side will have snow, barren branches and a moon. I'm moderately creative and artistic - enough to have the vision but not enough to draw it myself. I've been hoping to find at least an image of a tree with a woman hidden in the trunk as a starting point and from there create the rest of the vision with bits and pieces. The idea is to have the three done first and add more detail over the years like the sun, moon, birds, lawn, snow, distant mountains, etc. But the main focus is the tree. I'm hoping someone in this tribe will have seen such an image and can point me in the right direction.

Color suggestions for my new tattoo.

I am getting a tattoo on the inside of my forearm, from elbow to wrist.

It is going to be a holly hock steam with 2 full flowers and a couple of buds.

I know the color I want the flowers and leaves, but I am kind of stuck on the branch.

Is there any other color I could possibly have besides green, without it looking weird?

I don't know how well green will look on my arm ,since I'm so fair skinned.

What do you think? Stick with green?

I have one full color tattoo of a human heart, but it has no green. Red, blue , yellow with purple highlights. Those all work well.
