New Years Eve World Music Party with BALKANIZE! & Rattlemouth
World Music Dance Party

Art6 Gallery, 6 E. Broad St., Richmond
Come dance in the New Year with two of Richmond's premier World music ensembles as Art6 Gallery continues their tradition of hosting high-energy end-of-year parties.
Doors open at 9pm, and the music begins at 9:30pm with BALKANIZE!, Richmond's ONLY Old World Turko-Balkan Folk Music Ensemble and their special belly dancer guest stars, Shari (of Shimmy Mischief) and Erin (of To The Earth). Their set will include many new, never before performed dance songs from Macedonia, Greece, Israel and Syria.
Headliners Ratllemouth will take over around 10:45pm with their scintillating blend of Cuban, African and Middle Eastern sounds that will drive you to the dance floor and keep you there until 2009.
This event will have a cash bar, free snacks and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Not to be missed.
