Please join Cyphertown for our first event of 2008! Cyphertown became the first ever theme camp and stage for 100% Live Hip Hop Culture at Burning Man in 2007. This event will raise funds to bring us back to the Playa in '08.
Cyphertown will be providing entertainment and art at the Peace Rally in Richmond earlier in the day on March 15th. The rally is entitled: No More Pollution! No More War In Iraq! No Stolen Iraqi Oil in Richmond! The Rally will be held in a local park in Richmond and a march will lead from there to the Chevron Corporate Headquarters and Refinery. This is the begining of a new alliance between Cyphertown and the many activist groups sponsoring this action. This is a strategic action to link the Hip Hop and Burning Man communities with the Activist Movement in the Bay. We will be rolling in the march with an art car and sound system! Please come and support this forming alliance! Bring out your playa bike and your bestest costume for creating a scene and to stand for peace! Check out www.actagainstwar.net for more info.
