It sure is hot in LA, and th e weather forecast says , a few more hot days . How do you deal with the heat??

Mon, September 13, 2004 - 4:44 PMWe have what we like to call the poor man's central air going...two cheap air conditioners and a few fans blowing the air throughout the house...I can't seem to conserve on days like these....and for everybody who needs AC, Sears on Santa Monica Blvd, has ACs for really cheap...anywhere from 30-80 bucks depending on the strength...they're ones that people returned ....but they were only used for a week or less and they are in perfect condition...that's where I got mine!! -

I am on the ground floor of my complex and I know it's not that hot... West L.A. Had the rolling blackout (Edison) but I was in class. Hey P, I'm up for a ride, anytime?
Get up early and go to the beach. When the marine layer is there and your out on the waves, it is colder than both of your AC's. -
