I need to keep a journal, but tend to wing it.
Anyone else dreaming of spring? (as a few inches of snow is on the way here in the midwest)

Re: Spring seems so far away. I wonder what new type of plant I will try this year?
Thu, February 1, 2007 - 12:51 AMI've just moved to Jerusalem from the midwest. Here, it is winter, too. But winter is different--more like spring. Last weekend I walked through the forests and saw wild cyclamen, something my Israeli friend called koloniot, almonds beginning to bloom. It's a whole new way to experience "winter," although really everyone called last weekend's weather spring-like.

Mon, February 5, 2007 - 8:43 PMSpring seems even further away with temps below zero. Glad my bulbs didn't decide to pop up in January.
I think some new Lillies are what I need to plant this year. Does anyone have some suggestions or a link to some unusual ones?
