kimchi in the heat

When I've made kimchi, I let it ferment in a relatively ool, dark place, as one should do when fermenting kimchi.

However, I've had an idea: kimchi at burningman... prepare it before I leave, then let it ferment on the playa. I can find dark, but I know I won't find cool there.

Any idea how this will work out? Am I setting myself up for a delicious mid-week treat, or an absolute failure?
