as i see it

As I see it
The universe is imploding
Perhaps it is gearing up
For some apocalyptic orgasm
I wonder if we are situated
In the groin of it all
Waiting for the meteor
Or asteroid
Or both
To show up
As the polar ice caps
Melt

as religions find their messiahs
propose their justifications
For cosmic conditions
For extremist deeds
As cyclones of thought
Tsunami’s of fear
Line up as foreplay

with earthquakes that just fall off
Into some kind of
Volcanic ejaculation
That spread legs
consciousness
sunsets
unexpected misalignments
that appear as perfect chaos
doing a striptease
at the galactic equator
where a quick fix
shifts perspective’s
a tad enough to call it
even
when it is odd
