Mon, April 14, 2008 - 7:38 AMJust recently there was a big deal at the San Francisco Art Institute because they had an exhibit by a French "artist" (I use the term VERY loosely) where it showed video clips of him bludgeoning 6 animals to death. It creates such and uproar that the suspended it. It was finally shut down completely after some loonies threatened the gallery staff, but I'm glad it's no longer up. -

Thu, April 24, 2008 - 9:49 AMI just saw on Current TV this same guy is looking for human to Die in an art gallery he want some who is terminal and has very little time to live.. Maybe the guy him self should do it.. i can't call him an Artist that is would be an insult to all true artist.
I hear from others that when the dog died they hid it then dumped it later but told people it was let go..It was sick in the first palce to let the guy do it.

Thu, April 24, 2008 - 9:55 AMWho really knows. Snopes claims it as " Undetermined " - there is a Spanish speaker on You Tube that said he went and looked for all the galleries / exhibitions etc...and couldn't come up with any of them and that it is a fake stunt, staged...
I don't know either way. I hope it was only a sick stunt (fake)...somehow I wouldn't put it past some stupid people that need attention.
Either way if you try to find the silver lining in this (hard, but ....) people came together for humane treatment of an animal / animals...It caused awareness of undue suffering. -

Thu, April 24, 2008 - 2:54 PMWhat was ssaid is that he paid street kids to help him grab the dog off the street .. no one knows for sure if the dog got away a few days after or that it died or was killed.. all anyone can say is that this was tried. Snoops said it can not find whether it did or did not happen and this is very distressing to many. on some at sites (non-English site) the guy companied that some took the dog out and killed before it could die in the show. Othere say he came and took the dog that was half dead away and killed it.. no one knows but to call any of what this guy does art is wrong and he need to banded from do any one shows like it animal or Human.

Fri, April 25, 2008 - 7:01 AMI assumed the next logical step would be for him to want to kill a human. Regardless of whether you are a big animal lover, I think most people know that those who are cruel to animals are also cruel to other human beings. The whole thing just makes me sad for humanity in general. I also hope it was a fake, but even if it was, someone obviously thought it would be fun to fake everyone out (like the video of the soldier throwing the puppy) and obviously needs some serious help. -

It is very sad to think if this actually occured that there was no authority to stop it.If it was a" joke", colour me humourless, it's too sick & distressing.I cannot look at any video of this.
