principessa crankypants, I love that you use the Davy Crockett tune! Remember the old western TV series Have Gun Will Travel? (I've liked the name Paladin for a *very* long time! )

Okay, so I cheated. I went back and copied my post from the last thread on this subject that we had. This is from 2/8/07:

"We had a long thread on this subject, that was begun 11/04. Do a search in this tribe for "Nicknames" and it will bring up the old thread, if you want to read it. It was really interesting to see how a lot of us use the same cutesy nicknames.

        Paladin.

        Pally-poo
        Pally-ally-poo
        Paladindin
        Pal ala din
        Pooky
        Pooky boo
        Puddin' pie
        Puddin' cup
        Punky boo
        Wiggle-butt
Springy-butt (When he won't sit his butt down and keep it down.)
Stinkerboo (Mind you, he doesn't smell at all bad. It's more like "you little stinker", as in "smarty-pants".)
        Stinkerbutt
        Fuzzy face
        Fuzzy butt
        Sugar plum
        Baby boy
        Puppy boo
        Bugger boo
        Monkey
Cheeky wee puppy (Yes, I watch too much Craig Ferguson... :P )
        Tummy rub slut
        My little black Otter
        Mud puppy
        Snuggle boo
Sugar pie honey bunch (And yes, I do break into the song. )
        etc. ...
        (*Just added these - 4/13/08)
        Rudder tail
        Smiley
        Spoiled puppy

Oh, and I sometimes sing the chorus of the theme to 'Have Gun Will Travel' to him. (Part of where his name is inspired from. )

(I'm beginning to realize I use 'boo' a lot... It just seems to go at the end the of names so well. I may relate it to Yogi Bear's sidekick, too. You know, Boo-boo Bear. ) "

    Loki:
    Loki-poki-pie, Lo, Lo Lo Key
Lokius Maximus (because that's the most Loki we can fit in a dog this size!)
Lokidawg (from an old roommate, it's actually the tone of voice that makes it)
    Muttley Buttley
Humpy Humperson (Dirty old Man also goes with this as he tends to hump younger, male dogs at the park. Not always, but enough to get the nickname)

I may spend too much time alone with my dog :)

    Sydney:
    Sydneylisous Monkey Boy
Stinkey (when he came to the shelter, he was missing an ear and it was all infected and stank)
