    Bill backing foreclosures ~ nothing for the forecloseeeeee's (am I way off base? Someone please educate me... people who purchase foreclosures get a tax deduction ($7 K)
    Does this sound like helping big business and continuing to squash the middle class and down?

        People that don't realize how stupid they are. Myself included regularly. We need to remain open minded. This entails more than most of us are willing to put too much effort into. I love stories that show both sides of the story. You get a clearer picture of what both parties were thinking and their perception. Then the story makes more sense. Sometimes.

        So I guess, jumping to conclusions and assumptions are STUPID to me. Even though admittedly I have been guilty of this same thing. To error is human right? But hopefully with experience we can err less often and NOT be so STUPID. : )

    I saw someone speed up (in a big 4x4 pickup truck) and pass a semi-truck on blind corner into an oncoming car. In the middle of a road construction area.

        Yeah, Wicked, I used to dispatch tow trucks back in the 90's, and actually had the following conversation one day. The office laughed for a month...

        caller: "I need a tow truck."
        me: "Okay ma'am, where's the car?"
        caller: "In my garage."
        me: "Oh, that's easy. Where's your garage?"
        caller: "It's about 6 feet away from my house, but the driveway goes right up to it."
        me: "Okay, ma'am, uhm....where is your house?"
        caller: "I'm calling you from my house. Can't you see my address?"
        me: "No, ma'am, ____company name___ Towing doesn't have that technology."
        caller: "You don't? Well, I'll be darned!"
        Then she hung up.
        Waited a few minutes.
        Then she called back, got my coworker, and spit out all the information we needed immediately. We knew it was her because she mentioned that garage comment again...

          My classmate once got second degree burns on his leg after attempting to iron out a wrinkle in his pants while he still had them on.

          My upstairs neighbor in an apartment above me was told that by putting a teaspoon of gasoline on his sclap each night he could regrow lost hair. He tried this just once. After the first application he apparently spaced-out and lit up a cigarrette. His remaining hair went up in flames and his sclap suffered minor burns.

          While working for a cable TV company I took a call from an outraged mother. She ordered a movie package that included what she thought was an ice skating channel she thought was called "Icecapades" actually it was "Escapade" and it was a porn channel.

      What is the right speed to you? You should always go 5 - 10 over the limit. If you go 5 or more under I think that's stupid and I get PISSED!!! I don't even think there should be speed limits on the highway actually. Autobaun Baby!!! Highway 5 to LA? Hello!!! The fast lane could easily be made into one of those go as fast as you want lanes. That would be awesome.

        LOL. Do that in front of a pissed off cop!
        I've heard that if you do 1mph over the limit in Wisconsin, you're getting a ticket.

        That only works in Germany because people follow the rule of "move right" - ie don't sit in the middle lane - or any lane - when you can, move right.
        Even if you're doing 200 - if nobody is in the right lane, move right!
        Those who don't, get ticketed by police driving Porches, they catch mostly tourists (apparently).

        I think I'll add to the "what is stupid to you" list: people sitting in the middle lane (or left lane) who can move right. I don't like passing on the left!

          if you don't move over they will continually flash thier lights at you until you move. The polizei don't drive porsche's (at least they didn't five years ago when I was there). I believe they drive Opal's. But then the taxi's were mercedes so who knows? Just to set the record straight there are places in germany that do have speed limits. But boy almost 11 years of no speed limit was a blast!
