I like the smell of sweaty men and women. Phermones. Hormones. ??? Whatever theyre called. But I sometimes like perfumes & colognes if they are used sparingly. If I can smell it but it's not overwhelming. What are some of the ones you like. I like all the old standard cheap ones that remind me of my childhood and I have them all. Brut. Old Spice. Stetson. Polo (green). Farenheit. Drakkar. A few years ago I took a liking to Curve by Claiborne. The original one. But I like the blue one too. ( Forget the name. ) I like RED too. If you mix Farenheit and RED? OMG!!! Prepare to be molested. HELLO!!!
Perfumes I don't know many really but I still love Island Gardenia which used to be Jungle Gardenia by Jovan. My mum used to like Cloe. A lady at work likes J Lo. It's nice. A man that used to work with me wore something by Go Tee Ay. I forget how to spell his name. Jean Paul G. That one's nice. What's that one by that old lady that's friends with Michael Jackson? What's her name? What's it called? White Diamonds? That one actually smells pretty good. And yes I know. Her name is Elizabeth Taylor. I almost forgot. An icon I love to love and hate. COW!!! lol Mooooooo!!!! California. It's the cheese.

Re: Perfume / Cologne ???
Mon, April 21, 2008 - 10:25 PMI like walking through a department store's fragrance counters and smell all the beautiful scents. For me I love Lucky 6 by Liz Claiborne and Le De by Givenchi. For men I like Fahrenheit and plain Patchouli but in small amounts. Maybe some subtle musk cologne, one that will not give you a headache. There are so many out there that it's hard to chose one when you want to try them on. I end up just not stopping by the counter but only walking away from the sales people wanting to give me a sample "strip". -

Tue, April 22, 2008 - 5:27 AMAnyone remember Bennetton Colors (c. Eighties)? 5 diff. scents, 2 very memorable.
Of current pop Guy colognes: Canoe~ has light citrus scent.
Methinks many buyers of Brut are after the alcohol content. -

Tue, April 22, 2008 - 7:32 AMWhenever I wear Clinique Aromatics Elixir I get compliments from total strangers, taxicab drivers, etc. I don't even like how it smells myself, I just wear it occassionally for the reaction.

Re: Perfume / Cologne ???
Tue, April 22, 2008 - 8:22 AMMy personal favorite, the only one I use, is Opium. My boyfriend absolutely rocks my senses everytime he wears Paul Sebastian....ooOOooo...makes me quiver! My biggest cologne/perfume pet peave is when people spray it on their clothes instead of on their bodies. Ickypoo.

Re: Perfume / Cologne ???
Tue, April 22, 2008 - 8:30 AMIt's weird. I'm repulsed by the smell of men. Especially, overpowering use of the cologne. When I do wear cologne, I use the old stand by (Polo green) sparringly. I remenber shopping for cologne once in JC Penny's with my wife one time. I was standing at the counter alone and ripped a huge fart. I thought no one would notice. My wife walked up...whiffed a sample bottle of cologne and.....WHEWWW! this stuff stinks like shit!!!! backing away.... aw I thought that was so funny, -

Tue, April 22, 2008 - 12:28 PMOn men I like Old Spice. On me I like White Musk, Halo, Opium, amber, or Sunflowers. -

Re: Perfume / Cologne ???
Tue, April 22, 2008 - 12:36 PMThe only thing I ever noticed on a man that I found absolutely intoxicating was frankisense. He got these huge gobs of it from Tunisia, I think. Can't get anything like it here. -

Re: Perfume / Cologne ???
Tue, April 22, 2008 - 6:43 PMI should saute' a bunch of garlic and onions in EVOO and then get a sponge and rub it all over my body and then use a blowdryer to make it all dry. Then wear some old clothes that I can throw away and go to work smelling like that. If people ask what's up I'll say "What? It's my new scent I got at the fragrance booth at the farmers market. It's called Garden Essence. You don't like it? Oh I just love it darling. But for some reason I want to go eat lunch at Pasta Pomadoro. You want to join me?"
That would be fun but I'd probably get sent home. : ( -

Re: Perfume / Cologne ???
Tue, April 22, 2008 - 8:28 PMIf He walks in MY Door and reeks of "PERFUME"("Cologne" is nothing more than Butched-up Ladies Perfume) ....he gets stripped then marched straight into the shower and handed a bar of uncented Lava Soap and a Loofa Sponge and told "Scrub IT Off you REEK"! If I wanted a "Cologne Queen" in my Bed I'd have invited a Woman to spend the night with me instead of...You! -

Re: Perfume / Cologne ???
Tue, April 22, 2008 - 10:09 PMCologne in bed? Oh hell no child. ( And yes I know youre not a child. Just an expression I like to use. Imagine me with my hands on my hips and bobbing my head back and forth when I say it. : ) I used to have a roommate that would shower then spray too much deodorant on before his b/f would come over. I can't imagine being in bed with someone that smelled like that. Like I said. I don't prefer cologne at home. I prefer naked raw man-stink. I want to smell MAN when I inhale the scent of the armpit. ( And other parts / bits & pieces. ) I like to smell that at work too but if people wear cologne or perfume at work or some other places like special events I can dig it sometimes. If it's not overwhelming. Like sometimes I walk past a lady, a perfect stranger, in a restaurant, or a man, whatever, sometimes when I smell the scent mixed with their own scent it just drives me wild.
AND, some scents smell different on different people. There was this HOT UPS man that used to come to my workplace years ago in San Bruno ( He was hetero though. : ( ) But I asked him what his cologne was and he said Preferred Stock. It smelled soooo good and reminded me of my mom listening to the Beatles and Led Zep and burning "incense" when I was a kid for some reason. I HAD to git me some of that stuff!!! I like it but it didnt smell as good as it did on him.
I know some bars won't let you in if you wear cologne. Then there are those nose in the air snob bars that won't let you in unless you wear too much. lol Stupid mother fuckers.

Re: Perfume / Cologne ???
Wed, April 23, 2008 - 11:42 AMThe scent of lavendar is my weakness. My bedroom must always smell of it, my bath as well and my car. Otherwise, no other scents. I have to admit, I'm down with the complete male scent in its natural scent. I like the fresh from grungy work smell that comes in th edoor and floors your senses. It doesn't seem to work when it's "stinking on the couch because I'm too damn lazy to get up and shower" though. I had a incredibly exciting and sensuos boy friend once who worked construction (I was 17). He'd arrive in his beater pick up truck to come get after school. He'd be adorned in tattered, kneeless Levis, and maybe on occassion a torn up tee shirt. I'd rush up and hug him and he'd always say "woah woah, be careful I stink". But I just wanted to eat him right there on the spot. I've never forgotten how animalistic that natural scent made me feel. After that I grew up and men showered before they came to see me. How sad. hahaha -

Re: Perfume / Cologne ???
Wed, April 23, 2008 - 12:00 PMThere was a period in my life when I was completely celibate. For years. Then a friend of mine insisted that I get out and start man-hunting. We went to a sports bar together. The man smell in there was amazing. And just as the noise died down, everyone in the bar heard me say, "My ovaries are alive!" -

Re: Perfume / Cologne ???
Wed, April 23, 2008 - 12:40 PMfor myself it is patchouli, chlorine, sweat and leather. On other people, I like subtle scents both more masculine and more feminine. I don't know the names.

Re: Perfume / Cologne ???
Thu, April 24, 2008 - 1:44 PMPerfume and "Men's Cologne" are made from the exact same chemical compositions.
They are both "Aromatic Body Scents". The only difference is Men's "Cologne" is Muskier than Ladie's Perfume. and to sell that shit to MEN they changed it's name to "Cologne" to try and butch it up. -

Re: Perfume / Cologne ???
Fri, April 25, 2008 - 5:58 AM"Perfume" began as "Ladies Toilet Water"-The Victorian-Era Name for it.. UGH! an awful term for early versions of "Perfume"(It wasn't REALLY "water from a Toilet!")
Before we had Synthetics Perfume was made from "Ambergris" that was harvested from Whale Blubber.
Today whenever you splash-on Pefume,After-Shave or Cologne you are splashing Chemicals on your skin! Take a LOOK sometime at the "Ingredient List" of your Favorite Perfume After-Shave or Cologne(or Anti-Persperant) and then you will discover "why" I no longer use ANY of these daily care Products!

Fri, April 25, 2008 - 9:20 AMI checked into a hotel very late last night, and I startled the young girl receptionist that was watching TV. She jumped up and was a little flushed and acting nervous. I could very much smell her. I think she was masterbating. I'm certain. Or maybe she hadn't showered in a while. -
