Sat, October 10, 2009 - 10:31 AMThe intent and power of the spoken word is magical. But for kicks my magic word is "Ah la peanut butter sandwiches" the Amazing Mumford from Sesame Street. -

Re: Magic words
Sat, October 10, 2009 - 1:12 PMI agree, the written word as well. The ancient Nordic tribes recieved the runic alphabet from Thor. The act of writing a meaning down and reading it aloud was truly magical experiance to an illiterate people. They would chop the runes into sticks and burn them in the fire, the smoke would then carry the message to the gods. Not only did the letters form a written word, each letter had a spicific meaning usefull in casting divination. -

Re: Magic words
Mon, October 12, 2009 - 6:16 AMSomeone walked past me in the hall at work last week and said "Beatlejuice. Beatlejuice. Beatlejuice." I think they were trying to tell me to put on a fake smile and pretend like them. Their brief synopsis / critique of my disposition. If I need a mood ring I'll go buy one. It's work. It's a serious look of determination & productivity. Sorry I don't look like Latoya Jackson. -
