I think I would give up my apartment and hit the road just to live in one of these things. I think they are sweet, but would you live in one of these?

Re: would you live here?
Thu, October 15, 2009 - 3:54 PMits a bit small,
but i have had a cool idea of living in a large moble home parked inside an oldtime barn, have trees and grass inside the barn with skylights and air and heat controled. that way it could be spring in your front and back yard all year long. -

Re: would you live here?
Thu, October 15, 2009 - 3:57 PMI wouldn't want to LIVE in it, but it would be AWESOME for long cross country trips. I plan to take one one day, and something like this would be ideal. -

Thu, October 15, 2009 - 10:30 PMJust park it for a few months each summer and move your grows around. Plant away within walking distance and just play dumb if the po po show. "Twat occifer? There are hundreds of marijuana plants down by the river? Really? OMG!!! Just forget about it and have sex with me now. That's it. Plants? What plants?"

Re: would you live here?
Fri, October 16, 2009 - 9:19 AMI've got a motorhome and I love it. I would'nt want to live in it though. There lightly constructed and the interior will wear out if it's actually "lived in".Besides that, staying in cool RV parks costs allot, about $35 to $75 a day. But still, it's the only was to vacation in our part of the country. There's so much to see and do. -

Re: would you live here?
Fri, October 16, 2009 - 9:26 AMWhen I went to Cal Poly SLO in the later '50s, there was a whole housing area set up on the hill above the dorms for Korean War vet families c known as Silver City made up of used airstreams....We younger guys (Cal Poly was not coed then) thought it was 'way cool, but I had a couple vet friends who said they were counting their days. -

Re: would you live here?
Fri, October 16, 2009 - 12:23 PMYep, some time ago. I still have other friends in SLo and occasionally visit. While the place has changed a lot since the '50s, Poly is still as conservative as it ever was! -

Re: would you live here?
Fri, October 16, 2009 - 12:42 PMIt is absolutely darling. I would totally live in it if I could live in Mill Valley, like the designer (that little town is charming). But it would also work as a place to live for about a year while I'm building a bigger house, like my dream home in Mendocino. -

Re: would you live here?
Fri, October 16, 2009 - 6:28 PMI would live in it, too, if I lived alone. It is a little small. As one of a couple, we'd be better off living in it part time, traveling the U.S. and Canada.

Re: would you live here?
Sun, October 18, 2009 - 10:17 AMYes, it is very compact, a place for everything and everything in its place. I am not sure where the dogs would sleep though. I don't think they would care for it.
