They don't have Jack In The Box in Atlanta? What's up with that? The Bay Area only has one Dairy Queen that I know of. I don't think we have Sonic burger place here. Grocery store in Atlanta is Publix. They don't have Safeway or Lucky I dont think. No Snob Hill. There is another fast food place in Atlanta that is good but I forget the name of it. I'll have to ask my Dad. I'm not sure but I think WingStop is nationwide now? I know some places of the country have Sams Club. We dont have it here in CA I dont think. Just Costco. They do have Costco in Atlanta though.

Re: Businesses in different parts of the country?
Sat, April 26, 2008 - 9:39 PMIGA grocers still exist here in SoILL~
Dollar General Stores, Huck's Conv. Stores, Bunny Bread, Vess Soda (a St. Louis fave + great RC-like product).
Jay's Chips. Uncle Ray's chips have Bible verses printed on the bag, presumably for the unsaved.
I miss Drive-Ins, but the ones locally drove off the last of their business w/ stupidly bad movie picks.

Re: Businesses in different parts of the country?
Sat, April 26, 2008 - 9:59 PMIn Atlanta, & throughout the south they have Waffle House. They have Piggly Wiggly grocery stores. Hushpuppies are sirved in stead of french fries. And sweet tea isn't what you think. There was a time when I was in the south for several weeks straight, I had a big 44oz sweet tea for breakfast, two 44oz'rs for lunch and another one or two with supper. (what they call dinner). I gained so much weight! I was totally bloating out and mood swings. Then I saw how they made that stuff, They take a 10 lbs bag of sugar and mix it with 10 gallons of boiling water. Then add the instant tea with sugar added. That shit I'll kill ya. -

Re: Businesses in different parts of the country?
Sat, April 26, 2008 - 11:48 PMWhen I lived in Alabama there was Sam's Clubs. No Costcos there. They didn't have Safeway's or Lucky's. There was a Food World supermarket chain. The Food World near where I lived went out of business, I don't know if the whole chain got bought by another or it was just that one. Anyone have a Food World supermarket?
And there were Sonics there. I haven't seen a Sonic in California, where I live now. I've never heard of WingStop. What kind of place is that? -

Re: Businesses in different parts of the country?
Sun, April 27, 2008 - 3:10 AMIn Amsterdam, Holland we got McDonald's, which is world wide anyway... Pizza Hut, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Burger King, Star Bucks, they just closed Dunkin Dounuts.
And down here on the farmland of France, well if I drive an hour I can get McDonald's with an expresso since it is also a McCafe. Last time I ate there I got a Petit Indian a hamberger with eastern indian style curry sauce on it, not bad..
When I get a visit from a friend who is stationed in US army base in Germany, he'll bring me a case of root beer and Dr. Pepper. but the Dr. Pepper is made with different ingredients here in Europe.... -

Sun, April 27, 2008 - 5:24 AMIn the Pacific Northwest there's a chain called Burgerville. As you are leaving Pendleton Oregon, there's a sign that says "Last Burgerville for 123,0000 miles."
