Jennifer Hurley is an assistant professor of English at Ohlone College in Fremont, CA. Her writing has appeared in various literary journals, including The Mississippi Review, The Green Hills Literary Lantern, and Natural Bridge. She spent the month of January as a writer-in-residence at OBRAS in Portugal, where she communed with wild pigs, doused herself in red wine, and started writing her first novel.
