Hi. It's my first time ever to pop a topic in English.
Is Ayahuasca legal in Holland?
Is there any other places in Europe where it is legal.
If any of you know anything about Daime church in
Holland, please share your knowledge about it.
Im very keen on having a Daime experience myself
as a part of my Christian quest. And I WAS thinking of
going to Brazil to get one. But turns out that it's a lot
cheaper to fly to Holland. (It costs three times more
money to go to Brazil from Japan.)

Wed, March 5, 2008 - 12:11 AMThank you for the reference Juanita.
Looks like Aya is not 'perfectly' legal in Netherland.
Im still waiting for a reply message from the Daime church
someone's told me about in Amsterdam...
If possible,
tell me a little about your Daime experience, whether
it is a ritual worship involving the drinking of Daime
or not. (Cos just being there and praying has its
own value, out of my experience as a Pentecost.) -

the services of santo daime in holland are legal, and no one will be arrested.
they are very similar to the ceremonies in brazil, but you are in an urban environment in europe, which is a very different feeling. nonetheless, you can have a strong and transformative experience there. the madrinha is very kind, her name is geraldine. the daimistas i have met from there are very serious about making the church a portal of light. the times i have gone they rented a church and so you do the ceremony in old churches from the 1500's. I am sure you will receive a good welcome if you are respectful of the tradition. they have services with the tea at least 2 times a month, check the calendar for festival times when you could attend more works in a row. those are in june and december. the page below is out of date, but it has some info on it

Re: Is there a Daime in Holland?
Fri, March 7, 2008 - 3:25 AMThank you clancy.
I got the reply email from the head person of Ceu Da Santa Maria in Amsterdam.
She gave me the updated schedule chart for the rituals,
and I emailed her back with my request for attending one of the rituals
that fits my travel schedule.
I don't know if it will involve the drinking of Daime yet. But it's not my first concern
so no problem.

Re: Is there a Daime in Holland?
Fri, March 7, 2008 - 9:44 PMusually they do not like people who aren't drinking to attend. unless you are a researcher. having spectators takes away from the experience for many people. and on an energetic level, it makes a hole where one person is not opened but everyone else is. the drinking of the tea is central to the practice. -

Re: Is there a Daime in Holland?
Sat, March 8, 2008 - 7:06 PMI see...
I emailed the head person of the Daime church in Ams saying that I want to
attend one of the rituals without taking the Daime drink myself, and not
getting the reply for that yet.
I have attended other spiritual experiences conducted in a group
so I understand the disturbance I would cause in the spiritual atmosphere
of the place if not drinking Daime myself.
They say Im welcome to meet people connected to the church when there
is no ritual ongoing, but didn't specify about whether I can really
attend the ritual itself without drinking the tea.
Thanks for your advice.
and It suffices for me to get to know with the people so I will
know who to call when Im finally ready to drink it myself. -

Directions for travelling to a Daime church in Holland from the Airport ?
Tue, July 1, 2008 - 3:21 AM
Hello dear Daime Friends!
I would like to travel to Holland to participate in the Sacrament for the first time.
Most likely I will fly to Amsterdam.
I have never been to Holland before.
Would you like to let me know what is the best way to travel
to a Daime Work near Amsterdam from the Airport?
Any other advice?
Hope to hear from you!
With much gratitude,
Larix
