What a week we have ahead of us. Just so ya know. Inauguration madness
will NOT get in the way of our class schedule. It may get in the way of me
spamming you about it so take note now. This is your first and best blast
about what is what with Dance Afire for the next three weeks.

Monday, Today, 19th & 26th. Staff Manipulation 6:30-7:30pm.
This class alternates weekly between basic Grip & Contact Skills. Like what
you see in the Developing DC Staff style? Come learn the basics from the two
instructors who making it happen, Loup-de-Lou & Fractal.

Thursday 16th, 23rd, & 30th Drex's Beginner to Intermediate Poi Class.
8pm-9:30pm. These are the first three classes in Drex's new poi series
designed to bring your skills from a basic understanding of the art to a
Journeyman's or intermediate level of skill and understanding. Once through
these six weeks of instruction you will be able to move through and identify
and converse about the many building blocks that make up this wonderfully
complex art.

Dance Afire Sunday!!!
18th, & 25th
Dr X's Poi Lab 2:00 to 3:30pm.
Hoop Surprise 3:30 to 5:00pm.
Pajama Jam 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
Come join the Community as it pulls out all the stops. Starting in the early
afternoon is new Dance Afire concept Dr X's
Poi Lab. The Lab is designed to let you the journeyman poi spinner have a
say in what material is covered. Contact Drex (Dr X) for details and online
participatory resources. Poi Lab will be followed by Hoop Surprise! If you
haven't had a chance yet make sure you come out to experience the infectious
energy of this fitness and dance Phenom. Last but not least is the much
beloved and anticipated Pajama Jam. This is a chance for all Dance Afire
students, Dancers and Object manipulators to come together, skill share,
dance and idea swap. Chill tunes and warm drinks will be served up for all
comfy pajama clad participants.

One hour classes such as the Staff Classes are $10 for preregistration and
$15 for drop ins.
Hour & a half classes such as Dr. X's Poi Lab and Hoop Surprise! are $15 for
registration & $18.
The Pajama Jam is $5 for Pajama'd folks and $18 for those who insist on
coming in their street apparel. ;)

Preregistration must happen via Online or in person registration 24 hours
before the class begins. As we grow this becomes more and more important
