Movement from the stars of the Egyptian stage, as well as from the choreographers behind the scenes -- today and min zaman (from the past). Astryd presents modern and classic Egyptian Oriental dance technique in her poignant style, easily absorbed and thoroughly broken down.
2 pm - 4 pm: Sassy Saidi Pop Fun, heavy duty saidi and shaabi pop choreography with assaya (cane). Don't miss this one...another original in Astryd's oh-so-Egyptian style with that happy, sassy, grin-filled zealous-ness! (Don't forget your cane!)
Sunday, 12 pm - 2 pm: The Latest HOT Egyptian Pop Choreography! Modern moves and saucy gestures...funky and fun! In her usual style, Astryd presents a brand new choreography with all the emotive qualities you love about Arabic pop!

The evening starts at 7:30pm. It's $10 + a plate of food. 12 and under are free. We will also have another guest performer, Frederique. Should be a well-rounded and fun evening.

Sun, December 2, 2007 - 8:54 AMOMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Astryd was amazing. She is a wonderful entertainer and a skilled dancer. She is also very sweet and modest. Just love her and I am sorry I missed her workshops. Maybe next time.
