Dance Church is a 'Barefoot Boogie' structured to the 5 elements:

Water : Flowing movements, receptive, feminine.
Metal: The edges, expressive, masculine.
Fire: A full expression and surrender.
Wood: The sprouting of new growth
Earth: Grounding inner listening.

Each of these elements is a guide. While you can't get it 'wrong', there may be people in the space who seem more practiced; let them inspire you.

We set up altars reflecting the natural world, at times you may be called to contribute something to the space, people have brought fruit to share, or sometimes a picture of someone going through a healing crisis, a loved one missed or an object of inspiration.

This is a community event and we invite you to meet others. If things come up for you please tell me. I welcome your feedback, not only the positive.

Amazing people dance in this community; bodyworkers, artists, teachers, business owners...Feel free to refer to one another for services.

Guidelines:
Barefoot or dance shoes only, no children under 16.
You are entering a Sacred Space as you come into the room, and your observance of this is important to everyone present. If you feel like you need to talk with someone please take any conversation out of the room, or convert it to movement or nonverbal soundings
