Wed, October 15, 2008 - 6:27 PMTo me, strength is the ability to exercise power throughout your full range of motion. It is having the energy to dance for as long and as hard as you choose. It is having the courage to get out there and do it, even when you are feeliing deibilitated by stage fright or self-criticism. It is the power to resist temptation, whether or not that is resisting the temptation of foods that are not nutritious, drinks that are full of fat and sugar or drugs (prescription and otherwise) that sap our authentic resources and create dependencies that do not serve us. It is the discipline to practice, practice, practice and be your own best coach AND cheerleader.
