The Santa Cruz Hafla and Desert Rose Competiton is right around the corner! Amy Sigil of Unmata and Shabnam Pena ( Bellydancer of the Year and Bellydancer of the Universe) are guest judges for the competition and will be teaching workshops each day of the festival. We have an exciting line up of performers which you can view at our website, www.bellydanceodyssey.com . We are still in need of volunteers for both Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday we need someone to run music from 12-1, an admissions person from 6-8 and a stage runner from 4-8.
Sunday we need people to emcee, someone to run music from 7-8, and stage runners from 4-8.
Volunteers usually work a two hour shift and are then able to enjoy the festival for free! If you are interested in volunteering, please pm me or email me at jalilah@bellydanceodyssey.com
