Re: New classes at Dance Odyssey Studio
Thu, July 26, 2007 - 10:06 AMHiya! The yoga classes are being taught by Paige Wyatt who is just incredible. She teaches in the Vinyasa flow style but with the principles of Ana Forrest (www.forestyoga.com). She has a pretty incredible resume -- I'll post as a PDF on separate post -- but also an interest in slackline yoga (www.yogaslackers.com) and acro yoga (www.acroyoga.org) which I think are a great fit for other things going on at Dance Odyssey and for dancers in general!
Let me know if I can help you with any other details!

Re: New classes at Dance Odyssey Studio
Sat, August 4, 2007 - 6:37 AMthe forest link is broken, as that domain is for sale...
what i am looking for is iynegar or some other type of hatha yoga style that won't be doing a lot of dynamic work that puts pressure on the shoulder/neck area, as i have an injury with nerve compression symptoms with these sorts of activities and overhead arm movements. i'll check out Vinyasa flow style and see what i can learn. thanks for taking the time to respond and i hope it turns out to be a good fit, as i want to support you guys!!! -
