Who's got and can burn me a copy of the Suspiria soundtrack and/or any other Goblins material? I've got some obscura in music and film to offer as trade...we'll figure something out. When I was in Italy in the Spring of '04 I did a semi-serious search for their vinyl during my travels but didn't come up with anything in that respect (but lots of great small pulp horror mags at a bookstore in Venezia), but then I didn't go as far south as Roma, which would be the most obvious city in which to hunt-

Re: Goblins
Wed, December 14, 2005 - 4:40 PMOddly enough a lot of this kind of MATERIAL tends to get released and sold at the local Newsagencies, which is where I recently got MY COPY of 'Suspiria'. But do bare in mind that: A) A lot of the DVD's (especially the Sergio Martino Eurotica Thrillers, which are among my favourites) tend to be in Italian-language ONLY... with no English-language options. B) The cd's tend to be ARTIST COLLECTIONS as opposed to Original Soundtracks, but I'm pretty sure I've seen Goblin's name pop up once or twice this year. C) You either have an INSIDER (like me for instance) hanging around the country who can pick up these items for you at the time of release, OR... you have to be damned lucky to be at the right place at the right time when you do visit. *ie: near a very major Newsagency in a very major city like Florence, Rome or Milan* -

Wed, December 14, 2005 - 5:26 PMOK, lovin' the rapid response Sydney, way to moderate your tribe! SO do I understand I can trade you something for the music? Or actually, I'll trade film for film for a 'Suspiria' copy as well. Email me with a wish list and we'll work it out. Might I suggest Lon Cheney's 'The Penalty' if you've never seen it.....
Email me and we'll work out the details- -

Re: Goblins
Thu, December 15, 2005 - 11:54 AMLike I said before, unfortunately my copy of 'Suspiria' is in ITALIAN only!! And I haven't been able to locate any Goblin cd's yet, though I know they're out there!! If however you're interested in tracking down some hard-to-find Italian Horror and Giallo classics at a pretty reasonable price, here's a great link for you to peruse: www.mondohe.it *and they're having a XMAS SALE too* NB: make sure in the 'Dettagli' (Details) section, under 'Lingue' (Languages) 'Inglese' is included as well as 'Italiano'.
Now if you'll pardon me, I have some CENSOSRHIP ISSUES to attend to in some of my 'kinkier' tribes! -

Thu, December 15, 2005 - 2:50 PMQue catso? Io parle Italiano perfecto. Dove la problema?
No I don't actually, just kidding. Thanks for clarifying, and thanx for the link. Though a purist copy of Suspira would be a nice aid in my study of the language. I watch that film more abstractly than as a narrative plot 'movie' anyway.
Cheap is good, but free is better! And not to mention the spirit of comaradre through trade! Oh who am I kidding? I just want to break international laws by sending bootlegged material through the mail.... -
