Joyce (my adopted sister) runs the Southern Virginia Child Advocacy chapter, it is located in Rocky Mount/Roanoke Virginia area and if you have every lived or traveled there you know that resources are very limited. Joyce stands up in court representing children who have been verbally/mentally abused, prostituted at a young age, seen/been part of violent crimes, raped, abandoned, and a countless number of unthinkable things so they have a voice and a hand to hold that won't hurt them.
