Hi all.
Sad news or good news if you don't like us. (Who doesn't like us? We hand out free booze at Pennsic!)
After this year, the Rescue Rangers will be taking a break from Pennsic. This might be for good. Most of us will only be there for the first week this year as well.
On a good note, that means the Punch will be there and handed out first week instead of second. Never been done before, so we hope everyone there first week enjoys and doesn't hate us in the morning. :(

It has been decided by the powers that be (Not me of course. I am only the useless figurehead) that the Rescue Rangers will not be going to Pennsic this year and will be taking a few years off.
I will miss all of you at Pennsic and hope everyone has fun.
Maybe a few of the Rangers will show up for a weekend handing out a whole bunch of the punch, but plans are still in the works. -

All of The Outlanders will miss you...but can totally understand the break. Shaelyn and I have been on Pennsic vaca and we too won't be at this year's Pennsic...but next year..oh yes. -

Thanks for the RR punch one of your guys brought down to the Fizzball game for me. It was a taste of Pennsic I wasn't expecting this year.

Fri, September 4, 2009 - 6:56 AMYour welcome Wolf. One of us was going to be there, so we made a batch and made sure you got your hands on some. The punch had been at Pennsic the past 10 years, so we had to make sure it made it again as well.
The Rangers all got together and went to the beach instead of WAR this year. Sigh, I missed Pennsic a lot.
The is some talk about going to Pennsic next year, ok so I am the one talking about it in the group. But being the USELESS figurehead has its drawbacks and no one really listening to you in the group is one of them.
Next year they are talking about Ireland, Alaska, or the beach again.
Who knows though, some of us may make a break for it and run to Pennsic for a bit carrying the punch along the way.
Hope you had fun this year and hope to be having fun with you next year.

This batch seems to have a bit more kick than usual as I discovered the other night. My toilet will never be the same...
