One of my best parties was at the camp Cloven Shield so many years ago. I think about 8. That was a good time. I drummed and had a Great time

    Hmm...I'd say the last true Swamp Fest, Pennsic 26. I think I promised to go home with someone, then had to go to the portacastle, forgot what I had been doing and wandered on to the next person about a dozen times that night. It was also the night I was invited to join Shadowfire and become a swampie!

    Men Without Pants at 27 was also a legendary party for me. That was the first time I ever yelled "GET OFF MY LAWN" at the war!

    Hmm, tough question..

    One of the most memorable was probably the Pirate Party at I think either 22 or 23.. I remember raiding the Pink Palace at that one, and getting made a 'baubble' to a lovely lass..
    My best "No Sh*t there we were.." moment came at Setmore Swamp's bobbing for beer, when I was the dunkee, and Lobo the dunker..
    The Kamikaze party in the A&S tent, then on the batlefield..
    Many of the various Pentwyvern parties (sorry about the cannon still LOL)
    Any night when the Stone Soup band is playing at the Chalkman is a good time..
    After a while, many of the parties start to blur together, but anytime at war is wonderful..

      The last two Kamikaze parties were my favorites--on the battlefield. Of course, it helped that my brother refused to let me run the bodice/cup shot line, so he kept my mug filled with kamikazes after he would refill the shot glasses on the line...

      ...that was when my knight dubbed me his "drink squire" since my mug was always magically filled for him to drain half of.

      ...and my brother decided I had a hollow leg since he had to refill my mug so often :(

    The "Worst" party @ Houe 3 Skulls 2005. I ran the worst body painting booth and made enough in tips to cover all bought materials...can't believe people actually gave me money for slapping purple hand prints on their backs and playing tic-tac-toe across their stomachs!

Pennsic 35, starting the evening with a fun night at YIV, then on to the PyroParty and after that a debaucherous night wandering the swamp getting drunk and being walked home by a kindly gypsy. It was a great night and a very tired, sun hating morning.....

          PyroParty? I need to keep my ears open. This sounds like a fun party. most opf my Pennsics are spent, going form one party to the next with a drum. This is nice. I am learning Guitar. One chord at a time. Hopefully, I will be ready by next Pennsic.

    Ladies Tea at the Black Pearl was my favorite this year...Mellisa and Camine played beautifully and our audience was so appreciative...I could have danced all night long!

      Oddly eneough, I played at the Black Pearl Tea. I was the handsome black man playing Drum. That was a good party, rain and all.
      I had re introduced myself to Carmine at that party. We had met the year before at " Your Inner Vagabond" That Black Pearl party was mosy enjoyable.

        As the Lord of Darkness and Prince of Lies I sort of HAVE to give my party (Hell Nite) high marks. But I was impressed with the visuals of the Pyro Party. And as always, Casa Bardici has the swankiest pad, even if they seem snooty at times. Once you get past the guard things are much easier.

        My favorite technique?

        "Hey, does this rag smell like chloroform to you?"

          Satan - usually, I think the Casa hires gate guards from another camp (at least for their Hoity Toity party at P35, they did...I think so those who worked so hard getting the camp set up can enjoy the fruits of their labor, rather than be stuck out at the gate all night). But you're right...once you get past that point, it's all good. They are indeed very swanky, and have been very kind and hospitable to me and to my friends.

          And I agree...high marks go to Pentwyvern, for being also being hospitable enough (and crazy enough!) to invite us ALL into their home so many times over the years. Yay, Pentwyvern!!
