The DAVE STEIN BUBHUB nightly weaves a sultry tapestry of colors and tones which implores fans to dance in a smoky melange of funk, rock, soul and jam. DSB is a band of seasoned players, playing non-stop sets of groove-driven funk creating a passionate and playful party atmosphere encouraging their audience to move and dance all the while imparting a socially and environmentally conscious message. Soulful vocals, undulating and oscillating funk guitar mixed with spirited organ and keyboards blend with deeply grooving bass and drum lines.

DSB has performed very actively each year since 2004, touring Northern and Central California and has shared the stage with legends like the JGB featuring Melvin Seals, New Monsoon, Leon Russell, Martin Fierro. Their latest release, “Velvet Hammer” features inspired appearances by the legendary Martin Fierro. It is a recorded testament to the songwriting, energy and performance virtuosity demonstrated nightly by DSB and is sure to be one of the highlights of the 2008 listening year.
