Poi, Staff and Hoop Classes this Week!
Thursday, November 20th
*Poi, Week 3 beginners to intermediate with Drex 8-9pm @ Contradiction Dance.
-Turning with any trick—buzzsaws and butterfly turns, multiple stitch thread-the needle & windmills.
*Staff, Beginners long staff workshop with Lou 9-10pm @ Contradiction Dance.
-An introduction to the concepts and drills of the basic open and closed grip moves with the long staff.
Classes at Contradiction are $10 pre-registered, or $15 for drop ins.
Sunday, November 23rd
*Hoop, All level hoop workshop with Surprise! 3-4:30 @ Contradiction Dance.
-Mizz Katie Surprise! is Joining forces with the Dance Afire Crew and is willing to share her hoopilicious insights with you. She is offering an all levels class in the drills and techniques of making that hoop spin. Please bring a hoop, or buy one when you get here as she'll have a couple Talia Hoops for Sale. As this is a hour & a half Class the fee is $15
for pre-registration and $20.00 for drop ins.
