Some of you ladies on tribe may remember the original call for volunteers to help test one of my sexual devices I designed about 2 years ago... thank you to all those who were brave and greatly enjoyed the experiments! Well, I just finished some upgrades I had been planning for a long time, and WOW!!! ..they REALLY work! The vibration is 3 times stronger and all around is way better. Beginning Dungeon Monitors Training 10/13/2007

Beginning Dungeon Monitors Training will be held Saturday, Octoiber 13th, 2007, from 11-5 at a residence in North Portland, close to bus lines. The cost for this course is $10. If you would like to attend please RSVP to Slydexia@leatherplanet.com Directions will be provided upon RSVP. Due to the size of the space the class size is limited to the first 20 who RSVP.

There will be a one half hour lunch break, we recommend that you brown bag it and bring your lunch as there are no quick restaurants in the area.

There is no First Aid/CPR class connected with this class. We do, however, recommend that DMs have First Aid/CPR
certification.

One of the benefits of taking this course, and then becoming part of the DMA, is that it is recognized by many nationally known SM/Leather/Fetish organizations who are accepting this DM training course as acceptable Dungeon Monitors training for their events.

Upon satisfactory completion of this "Beginners Dungeon Monitors Training Course" you will have the opportunity to join the PDX Dungeon Monitors Association and their E-list. This list is dedicated to allowing party hosts who are in need of qualified DM's to request your assistance. It is also dedicated to allowing DM's to communicate with each other regarding DM issues/questions/concerns and facilitate a sharing of our collective knowledge.

To attend the Beginning Dungeon Monitor Training Course we recommend you have the following experience, training and abilities:
A minimum of one year of active involvement in the local SM/Leather/Fetish community.
Attended a minimum of 10 SM/Leather/Fetish Play parties (Dungeon Play parties.)
A basic understanding of common play techniques
A strong desire to continue education about different play styles beyond personal areas of interest.
Be able to act in an emergency situation where physical activity and mental/emotional stability are essential.

If you do not have the knowledge and experience suggested, you will still be allowed to take the course and test, but we do warn you that some questions on the test will be on general BDSM knowledge not covered in class as well as information we cover in class. We are not saying this to scare you, but to explain why we suggest these prerequisites.

We look forward to presenting this class and hope that you will be able to attend.

Brief DM FAQ
Below are some common questions that we have been asked about becoming a Dungeon Monitor. Please do not hesitate to let us know if any of your questions have not been answered.

Q So when I finish the course I will be a trained Dungeon Monitor? Certified even?
A No. This course teaches you what you need to begin your journey as a Dungeon Monitor.

Q So being a Dungeon Monitor is a lot like being the Dungeon Police right? I get to tell people what to do and interrupt scenes right?
A No. At best, Dungeon Monitors are a lot like Lifeguards. We enforce the rules and make sure everyone has a great time. A better way to look at becoming a DM is that you are becoming a facilitator for the dungeon party. Your job is to make sure that everything goes smoothly and that the party host/ess's guests are taken care of. That may mean doing something as simple as moving equipment around to facilitate safe playing, helping the top tape down an electric cord so bystanders won't trip on it, or even fetching a glass of water for a player who can not leave the dungeon floor. The last thing we wish to do is interrupt someone's play. The only time we interrupt a scene is when there is an inherent risk of danger to the players or guests and then we try to be as unobtrusive as possible.

Q But I do get to stop people if I don't like the way they play, right?
A No. You only intervene in a scene if there is risk to life and limb, the bottom calls a safeword, they are breaking party rules, or you see a situation that is an immediate safety danger to the bottom, top, or bystanders.

Q Then if I think blood play is unsafe, I can stop people from doing it?
A No. Safety issues are not predicated on what you think is safe, but on the standards of the community at large. This is why we stress that you need to learn about forms of play even if you would not do it yourself so that you can assess safety factors knowledgeably. Any time you are in doubt as to whether it is your own prejudices or a real case of safety causing you to want to curtail play, you should consult the party host or the head DM. (Unless the situation will cause imminent serious bodily harm.)

Q I get sick at the sight of blood and I don't think fireplay can be done safely at all. Can I still be a dungeon monitor?
A DMs are expected to be able to act in an emergency and an emergency might involve blood or fire--not just a play scene. If you don't think you will be able to deal with emergencies involving these things, please carefully re-consider becoming a DM.

1.0.0 Slave's Role

(a) Slave agrees to obey and submit completely to Master in all ways. There are no boundaries of place, time, or situation in which the slave may willfully refuse to obey the directive of Master, except in situations where the slave's veto (section 2.0.1) applies.

(b) Slave also agrees that, once entered into the Slavery Contract, her body belongs to her Master, to be used as seen fit.

(c) All of slave's possessions likewise belong to Master, including all assets, finances, and material goods, to do with as he sees fit.

(d) Slave agrees to please Master to the best of her ability, in that she now exists solely for the pleasure of Master.

(e) Slave understands that all that she has, and all that she does, shall now move from right to privilege, granted only as He wishes, and only to the extent that He finds useful.

2.0.0 Safewords

If slave feels that a situation is approaching a boundary unforeseen, slave may utter the safeword "Yellow" signifying this. Master accepts the responsibility of assessing situations where slave calls the safeword and will, to the best of His ability, make judgment on whether to modify the activity or stop activity entirely. Slave agrees to hold no ill will due to Master's decision. Master agrees not to punish slave for the use of the safeword.

2.0.1 Slave's Veto

Slave, where appropriate, holds veto power over any command given by Master, at which time she may rightfully refuse to obey that command. This shall be signified by the safeword "Red." Utterance of the safeword "Red" necessitates immediate termination of activity, is considered a veto, and is grounds for termination of Slavery Contract.

3.0.0 Slave's Behavior: General

(a) Slave will strive diligently to remold slave's body, appearance, habits, and attitudes in accordance with Master's desires. Slave agrees to change the slave's actions, speech, and dress to express the ownership. Slave will always speak of her Master in terms of love and respect, and address Him appropriately (i.e. "Master", "Sir", "Daddy", "Keeper", etc.) when so directed.

(b) Slave will seek to learn how to please Master better, and will gracefully accept any criticism in whatever form Master chooses.

(c) Slave renounces all rights to privacy or concealment from Master. This includes but is not limited to photography and video photography of slave, in any situation, to be used and displayed in any manner Master sees fit.

(d) Slave agrees to confess all of slave's desires and fetishes for the Master's consideration.

(e) Slave will answer truthfully and completely, to the best of the slave's knowledge, any and all questions Master may ask of slave. Slave will volunteer any information her Master should know about her physical or emotional condition.

(f) When in the same room as her Master, slave will ask permission before leaving the room, explain where she is going, and why. This includes but is not limited to asking permission to use the restroom.

(g) Slave shall be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and availability of all toys. None shall be used without the express permission of Master, unless agreed to beforehand.

(h) Slave is responsible for maintenance and completion of all household chores. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
(i) cooking all meals; including preparing food for Master while He is at work,
(ii) cleaning; including vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining the kitchen, bathrooms, and porches,
(iii) laundry and dry cleaning,
(iv) paying all bills in a timely fashion,
(v) running errands and shopping,
(vi) laying out clothes for Master before work.

3.0.1 Slave's Dress/Body/Appearance

(a) Slave shall diligently maintain and adorn slave's body parts in such manner as will ensure that they are fully open and available to Master. Slave's body parts shall be able to be displayed by slave in public or private, to others or to Him, when so ordered.

(b) Slave shall never close nor cross her legs in Master's presence, unless specific permission to do so is granted.

(c) Slave shall never wear undergarments at any time, except when allowed to wear shorts or pants, and shall cover no part of her body with apparel or material of any description, except when the act of doing so, and the design of the item of apparel or material, are expressly approved by Master.

(d) Miniskirts, boots or shoes-with-heels, garters and stockings, and revealing tops or dresses shall be the mainstay of public attire.

(e) Slave shall keep slave's body parts clean-shaven or waxed at the direction of the Master.

(f) Slave shall keep slave's hair cut, styled, and colored as directed by Master.

(g) Slave shall keep slave's fingers and toenails painted and maintained as directed by Master.

(h) Master has the right to tattoo or have tattooed, pierce or have pierced, or brand or have branded slave's body.

(i) Slave will wear, at all times, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, a token of her possession, given to her by Master.

4.0.0 Master's Role

Master accepts the responsibility of slave's body and worldly possessions, to do with as He sees fit. Master agrees to love, care for, protect, and cherish slave, and to arrange for the safety and well-being of slave. Master also accepts the commitment to train the slave, punish the slave, love the slave, and use the slave as He sees fit.

5.0.0 Punishment

Slave agrees to accept any punishment Master decides to inflict, whether earned or not. Slave agrees that severe punishment may be assessed for any infraction of the letter or spirit of this Slavery Contract, and will accept the correction gratefully. The form and extent of the punishment shall be at the Master's pleasure. He may punish her without reason to please Himself. Slave enjoys the right to cry, scream, or beg, but accepts the fact that these heartfelt expressions will not affect her treatment. Further, she accepts that if her Master tires of her noise, He may gag her or take other actions to silence her.

6.0.0 Other People

(a) Slave may not seek any other Master or lover, or relate to others in any sexual or submissive way, either in "real time", or "virtual" or "cyber" time, without Master's permission. To do so will be considered a breach of Slavery Contract, and will result in extreme punishment or Slavery Contract termination.

(b) Master may accept other slaves or lovers, but must consider slave's emotional response to such actions.

(c) Slave agrees that her Master possesses the right to determine whether others can use her body and to what use they may put it. Master will discuss all such instances in advance with slave. Slave has no say in the choice of these other partners, with the exception that play with others must be "safe" in terms of the exchange of bodily fluids.

7.0.0 Alteration of Slavery Contract

This Slavery Contract may not be altered, except when both Master and slave agree. If the Slavery Contract is altered, the new Slavery Contract shall be printed and signed, and then the old Slavery Contract must be destroyed.

7.0.1 Termination of Slavery Contract

This Slavery Contract may be terminated at any time by Master, but never by slave. Upon termination, all materials and belongings shall belong to Master, to be shared or kept as He sees fit. Slave, owning nothing and having agreed to give up all worldly possessions and body to Master, shall once again own her body, but nothing else.

8.0.0 Slave's Signature

I have read and fully understand this Slavery Contract in its entirety. I agree to give everything I own to my Master, and further accept His claim of ownership over my physical body, heart, soul, and mind. I understand that I will be commanded and trained and punished as a slave, and I promise to be true and to fulfill the pleasures and desires of my Master, and serve Him to the best of my abilities. I understand that I cannot withdraw from this Slavery Contract.

8.0.1 Master's Signature

I have read and fully understand this Slavery Contract in its entirety. I agree to accept this slave as my property, body and possessions, and to care for her to the best of my ability. I shall provide for her security and well-being and command her, train her, and punish her as a slave. I understand the responsibility implicit in this arrangement, and agree that no harm shall come to slave as long as she is mine. I further understand that I can withdraw from this Slavery Contract at any time.

This Sunday is my Birthday and it happens to fall on the same day as Deacon X Fetish Night. Needless to say its going to be quite the event! In fact, I cant say I have ever been more pleased to have to work on my Birthday!! There will be kinky stage acts and beautiful people will entertain us by playing with fire. Rope Master Stuart and Mistress Mindy will be working with me on the dungeon Crew. There will be guest Domina's/Dominants in attendance.
There is a full service restraunt and pool tables.
There is a full service bar hosted by Lauratron.
DJ Ronabell will be spinning and has promised some serious German Industrial in addition to music that puts you in the mood to explore something deliciously naughty. He is right next to the dungeon and can set his music according to how your scene unfolds.
There is the new expanded dungeon in the stadium area. You can now stage your scenes in our little amphiteatre or on our dungeon furniture, next to the DJ.
Our new dungeon lay out has offered us a much better dance floor vs table lay out as well. Most tables now have a much better view of the stage or dungeon action, while tha dance floor is still centered around the DJ and light set up.

Greetings, Dear Friends and Conspirators -

Hope this message finds you well and wicked.

I want to thank you for your assistance, ideas, artistry,
and contributions to the project. Your involvement is key.
The key. Nothing without you.

Please find attached here the handbill for the coming
month's event. It is in jpeg format for use in
distributuion internetically. There are hard copies
available from Dave, at Berbati. Please call him before
stopping in, to confirm : cel: 503.887.9142.

Do remember that the club is SEMI-public. Granted, there is
dancing, and fire, and artistry, and fun; it is a Fetish
Play Event. It is open ONLY to those with genuine
involvemnet, interest, and respect for the fetish
community. There is a dress code ENFORCED (previously,
just preferred) at the door. PLease promote accordingly.

Not listed on the flyer is the cover charge. It is of yet
undetermined. Most likely : $5 before 11:00, $7 after.
Pass this along as you see fit.

We have a fantastic local band in the month of May.
Submarine Fleet will be playing from 10:30 to 11:15. Visit
