What is a normal person?

I tried looking for a clinical definition of normal and couldn't find it. That doesn't mean it can't exist.

as a clinical definition, it doesn't... this is why "health" services is in fact a euphemism for illness services... dysfunction is so much easier to spot and define.

You would be be better off looking at sociological anaysis of the processes of normalisation, norms, labelling and the mathematical concept of normal distribution for the concept of normal as a statistical reality. "Normal" is simply what most people "are" when presented through a commonly accepted set of filters (which is why the definition can shift like sand in your hand even within a given culture)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable man persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

So if we don't have a definition of normal how can we have a definition of what is abnormal? That's a logical fallacy.

Are humans walking breathing 'logical fallacies' maybe? lol

Yeah.... I think this must be a definition of normality we can agree on, even for purposes of debate.

We are imperfect and thats what makes us perfect! (lol)
Lets take this to the next level...

If we are created in 'God's' image, then what does that make God?(Christians hate this :-)

What is a Christian and what right do they have to call themselves such. They don't even believe what he taught!
When people can say they are Selfless, help their fellow Beings, be it Human or otherwise.........treat others as they would be treated themselves...........only then may they call themselves Christians. Instead they should just call themselves Religious!
So, if we can't work out what a Christian is, how can we find the meaning of Normal...........hehehe!

Christ-ian (believer or follower of Christ)...probably a misnomer at 2000 years on. Most have no clue who he really was or what he really said or stood for. They cannot quote his words even as recorded in their version of the New Testament. But they seem to be quite sure that WWJD means to bomb the crap out of suspected Moslem terrorists...and take their oil. And to condemn to hell anyone even contemplating an abortion.

I get the willies looking at that guy on the wall nailed to a board. A dead or tortured and dying deity. Absolute weirdness to me....

                  Jesus Christ

seen any mountains walking around lately?
