Las Tortugas update

Las Tortugas Dance of the Dead III, the annual Halloween soiree in Yosemite at Evergreen Lodge, is very pleased to announce some musical additions to an already stellar lineup. The additions include Tortugas veterans ALO, making a rare appearance in 2008. Joining ALO will be The Mother Hips, Trevor Garrod of Tea Leaf Green, Cornmeal, Flowmotion and Tracorum. These bands will be joining a bill that already includes Tea Leaf Green, Hot Buttered Rum, host band Blue Turtle Seduction, Melvin Seals’ JGB, Lebo, Guitarmageddon, and many other great bands and artists.

Taking place from October 30-November 2, the Thursday night kick off party will include Hot Buttered Rum, The Mother Hips, Lebo and Friends, Blue Turtle Seduction, Poor Man’s Whiskey, Izabella, Wisebird, and Dave Stein Bubhub.

3rd Annual "LAS TORTUGAS DANCE of the DEAD". The event is located 100 yards
from the Central Western Gate of the magnificent Yosemite National Park, at
the Evergreen Lodge in Groveland, Ca.

This year's artist lineup features an amazing array of artists with an
emphasis from the exploding Northern California music scene. We are
absolutely tickled to announce the following confirmed acts:
TEA LEAF GREEN, HOT BUTTERED RUM, Host Band BLUE TURTLE SEDUCTION, JGB
Featuring MELVIN SEALS, LEBO FROM ALO (and more surprises), GUITARMAGEDDON,
with more special headliners to be announced. Our Lineup also includes some
incredible "Up & Coming" bands, including POOR MAN'S WHISKEY, BLVD, THE

Building upon the Magic of the past 2 years, LAS TORTUGAS III will feature 3
Stages, TERRAPIN BIG TOP, TUOLUMNE HALL and the TAVERN. There will be
nightly themes, including the Annual Halloween Costume Contest, the Cabin
Decoration Contest, the Evergreen Fire Pit Parade, Dusk Performances at the
Sunset Vista and plenty of fantastic activities for Young and All throughout
the weekend. Once again Evergreen will be providing high quality festival
food in the food court as well as tasty buffets run through their great
restaurant.

1) Food: food court with various options, breakfast/lunch buffet and dinner
buffet, general store with grab and go food options, beer/wine, snacks, ice
cream fountain, and more!

2) General store: food, beer, ice cream, snacks, gifts, sundries, outdoor
related items, etc.

3) 90 year old Tavern with full bar, ten beers on tap, excellent wine list,
big screen for world series, killer music

4) Rec. Center with free internet and long distance service, cozy fireplace

5) Bath House: For on-site campers only

Gongzilla presented a NAMM Jamm showcase concert on Fri. Jan 18 at the legendary Troubadour in W. Hollywood, CA.

Make plans for a road trip as Delta Kicks off 2008 with a Winter Wonder Tour visiting some of the best ski resort towns in the West starting off with 2 NIGHTS in Mammoth, CA this weekend. On President's weekend it's off to beautiful Lake Tahoe for 4 shows including 2 NIGHTS at The Divided Sky in Meyers, CA on Feb. 15 & 16 as well as an all ages FREE performance on at the beautiful Kirkwood Resort from 1-5pm on Feb. 16. Come to my Bee Day Party @ Winstons

Come celebrate my bee day with Tequila! Greens! BBQ! and Music! I rented out Winstons in Ocean Beach and got Delta Nove to play just for us! J/K!! LOL..... i wish!

I don't want any presents, just your presence this Saturday Night!!!!!
We will start with a BBQin' adventure at Mag's (yes, of course there will bee Bacon on the grill probably wrapped around aspagus or something yummy!). Then we will walk or drive (if any one can drive at this point) to Winstons for Delta Nove! After the show is the after party and after the after party it will bee time to get our drinkin and puffin and playing with glowing things on at the beach... a short walk from Mag's wonderful pad!
