Goddess Bellydance is back in lexington starting on nov 5

Great news !!!!! I am so excited to once again be able to hold the goddess dance classes here in lexington .Thru the generosity of the new store here in lexington --MOONBEAMS --We now have space for goddess dance again.It will be on sundays from 12 noon to 1:30 pm. Classes are free --however dont forget to support your local pagan shop . Goddess dance is for any size woman or man --no dance experience is needed. In Goddess Bellydance Dance you will learn various forms of dance and ritual and meditations that can be adapted for your magickal use. Classes are for adults only at this time. Wear loose clothing and bring a bottled water . If at all possible bring a hip scarf/belt . I will have some that can be borrowed for class with me.I will be furnishing a free door prize at each class also.Any questions call me at home . Cime Shadow Weaver at 260-1008

Can't keep it to meself! Tonight in Middletown, OH, the Rising Phoenix Theater totally RAWKED! I'll post pics as soon as my buddy sends 'em. We did our Witches of Wakiki bit, (we've labeled it "Gothula") and watched incredible dancers such as, Psycho-Tina the demented dolly, Morticia and Gomez, a re-animated mummy, a voodoo head huntress, the Angel of Death with a crush, and Laylia outdid herself once more as the disco-dancing robot named "Little Wonder." It's such a top notch, class event - I hope we're invited back every year.

Please share your Halloween escapades.....and pics if you got 'em! }-)

Sumshee's Family Room hafla

Just a quick note to anyone who doesn't already know about it - we have a place to dance, every Saturday 2-4:00 pm, at Sumshee's. It's $5 to come, dress as you like, and bring your favorite CDs. Sumshee has snaks, drinks, and chai available at good prices, as is VERY friendly. Anyone is welcome - come dance and help create a stronger bellydance dance community!

Tights at Dollar Tree, cheap purple hair

Quick note- Dollar Tree has tights for $1, and I found some neat black sparkly ones, and some striped ones etc. I opened the crotch seam onteh striped ones, and they don't run or anything. These were girl's tights, so they are snuggish, but they work.

I also went to Hair Plus, and they have braid hair for .79 cents in black and royal blue mix, and black and purple mix. I got some of each for us, to make dreads... I'd grabbed a couple packs of white and a couple stragith blue the other day, (I have a customer buying braids I needed to finish) and I think this will do some intresteing things with that.

Who all is going to Rachel Brice’s workshop? We could register to perform…They have 20 act slots avaiable, first register, first filled. No more than 6 minutes each.

We’d have till Feb to get something together. I have to send in my form in the next day or so, so let me know.

Leighanna could do glowstick poi, and we could so something dark and savage yet elegant around her...

The teacher doesn't teach, not really. The teacher offers stimulation and ways in which the person can educate himself or herself. At best the teacher wakes up that person and makes a person hungry.

Dancing at Outer Loop Government Center

I posted this onthe Louisville tribe too - just in case someone goes looking but isn't into Goth.

I have a room booked at the Outer Loop Government Center for us to bellydance and such Sundays 4-6 PM starting this Sunday. Anyone that can make it is welcome, but it would help me plan if I know how many to expect.

This is lesson, practice, garb info, etc. There WILL be music.

Anyone know they are coming?
