On Friday, August 1st, Strangelove pays homage to our patron saints, DEPECHE MODE. Tomas Diablo and very special guest MELTING GIRL (Death Guild, 1984) spin the best of Depeche Mode and like-minded Dark Electro, Industrial, New Wave, and Goth.

Expect to hear artists like Depeche Mode, Depeche Mode, and yet more Depeche Mode, as well as solo work from Dave Gahan and Martin L. Gore, music from former bandmates Vince Clarke and Alan Wilder, and DM-inspired artists like De/Vision, Covenant, Camouflage, Mesh, and Seabound.

Strangelove is every first Friday at the CAT CLUB (Folsom and 8th), with different themes and guests every month. There's plenty of room to dance around and if you keep dancing, we keep the party going until 3AM! The DJs play music in the back room, and it's piped through to the front room at a lower volume, giving you the chance to chat at the bar without losing your voice.
