When you go to meet someone, in person, for the first time; how dose the subject get brought up, and where do you tend to pick to meet up? Where would you prefer to meet?

Fri, September 16, 2005 - 2:06 AMI usually just ask if I feel that the person is intersted in meeting. Meeting spots would mainy be in croweded areas like Malls etc at first (typiclly) -

Re: Typical first encounter…
Fri, September 16, 2005 - 3:59 AMI like to go out for a drink somewhere.
As far as meet-ups go, I'm flexibile. Clubs are too loud for meeting up wtih someone for the first time. Meeting for coffee, or perhaps a pint at a smaller, less crowded bar can always be a good one. If I'm really enjoying talking and I'm excited about meeting them, and they're excited about meeting me, then someplace more intimate.

Mon, September 19, 2005 - 11:52 AMI always met in public places, in separate cars. The most usual place was at a bar or coffee shop. Once at a restuarant. Group settings always help alleviate the stress too! Like, "me and my friends are going out Friday, want to meet up with us for a drink?"
